“The Joy is an iconic, active commercial fishing tugboat docked in historic Fishtown, a preserved 19th-century fishing village located along the river in Leland, Michigan. Built in 1982 by local fisherman Ross Lang and named after his wife, the steel-hulled ship stands out as a vibrant green visual anchor of the harbor and represents one of the very last working commercial fish tugs on the Great Lakes.”
